Their are some general things worth checking if you are experiencing any issues with your tracking unit.

  • Yearly server fee
    If your tracker is not showing on the mapping system or if you receive a page saying error when you type in your six tracking numbers then this could be because you have not paid your annual charge of £24.95 for server access.
    Absolute Tracking charge £24.95 per year for supporting your tracking unit on our servers - When you buy a tracking system from us you get the first years server support free, each following year is then £24.95 per. - Tracking systems are automatically disconnected if the date passes over one year and the fee has not been paid. - Please contact us for more details regarding this issue also if you would like to check your renewal date.
  • Tracker credit & Topping up
    Check you have credit on your tracker by toping it up with your swipe card provided at the time of purchase or top up at an ATM machine, this can take up to 24 hours to register.

  • Tracking unit power
    Make sure your tracker is powered up by looking at the LED's on the front of the tracker or re charging the battery until the green light is permanently on, (you cant over charge the battery by leaving it on for 24 hours)

  • Changing preferences &n POLLS.
    Poll your unit by clicking the POLL button in the web site mapping screen, select the required POLL setting, input your password and click send. This will set your tracking unit to the command you have selected, your tracker will keep this command until it is sent a new command by POLLing again.
  • If you need to purchase more POLLS simply click the POLL button and follow the instructions for adding POLL's to your account, it can take up to 24 hours to add the POLLS to your account so make sure you top up before you run out!
  • POLL's can be used when you Geo Fence and when you click to send a new command to your tracker, you will see the balance of your POLL's in the POLL box once you click the POLL button.

  • T-mobile tracking.
    T-mobile users - If your tracker is on T-mobile then you may be experiencing a network protocol - T-mobile will render the sim card in your tracker dormant / inactive unless you use it once in any three month period, this would require you sending one text message or making one track - to fix this issue simply take the sim card out and place it into a T-mobile phone, dial T-mobile on 150 and request they re activate your sim card, you will have your credit refunded and the system should start to function OK - Please power down any tracking device hardware before removing the sim card.

  • Vodafone tracking
    Vodafone users - Please top up your tracker - £5 will last 10 days - Vodafone currently charges 50p per day in the UK for web access, if your tracker send one update your sim card will be charges 50p of it connects all day you will be charged 50p - Vodafone is possibly a better choice for global tracking.

  • Sim card issues
    Sometimes sim c
    ards or hardware can become faulty, if you have tried all the fixes above then you may be experiencing an issue with your tracker or sim card - you should contact us at this point to arrange a change of sim card - if this still dose not fix the error we may need to change your tracking unit or sim card or both, Please make sure you try all the things above first before contacting us.
