Please plug your battery into the
charger, and leave connected for approx 3 hours until the red light turns
to green on the 60-day battery transformer.
Please do not attempt to use it until you have done this, as tracking time can
be dramatically reduced.
When using the case with the 60-day
battery do not use the tracking units internal rechargeable battery,
simply place the main 60-day battery directly into the electronic regulator
and then into the unit,
so only the 60 day battery is connected (do not use both batteries together).
It is up to you if you leave the back
of the tracking unit off, when it is connected to the 60day battery in the Mag
case.
Some customers prefer to notch a little slot in the rear of the tracking unit
case to allow the back to be fitted on the
tracking unit with the 60day battery wire pocking through.You can also leave
the back of the unit completely off the
tracker when it is in the Mag case. Try and fit the unit to the rear of the
vehicle with the top part of the Mage case
(the Lid) facing the road, this is important to give the internal serf star
111 antenna a better pick
up angle, also the tracking unit should be placed in the Mag case so the top
of the unit,(the part with the LED’s on it)
faces the lid of the Mag case. Use a cable tie if fitting is not tight enough
with just the magnetic case, for extra safety.
